The Catchfly

The Catchfly is a very cool flower.  Its scientific name is Silene.  Caryophyllaceae is its scientific classification, and its height is 1-2 feet.  The Catchflies color is pink, its beautiful color starts in between May and September.  Its suggested uses are floral gardens, roadsides, and disturbed areas.  The soil temperature is 70F.  One oz. covers 2,723 sq.  ft.  Its average seed per pound is 4,580,000.
